The Albanian-American Relations Council (AARC) board members, Mr. Ilirjan Rusi, Mr. Burim Rexhaj and Mr. Martin Vulaj held a fruitful meeting with the President of the Democratic Union for Integration, Ali Ahmeti, to discuss developments in North Macedonia, the region and geopolitical challenges.
The President of the AARC, Mr. Martin Vulaj re-emphasized that friendship and strategic partnership with the United States of America remain an inalienable value for all Albanians. The support of the United States has been and continues to be a key pillar of Albanians in the region.
The parties also discussed the importance of faithfully implementing the principles of the Ohrid Agreement and ensuring that the principles of justice on which it is based are fully implemented and serve as a source of strength for the continued Euro-Atlantic integration of North Macedonia.
On this occasion, Ali Ahmeti stated: “It was a special pleasure to welcome AARC to the headquarters of the DUI in a fraternal meeting with representatives of the Albanian-American Relations Council”
Mr. Ahmeti emphasized that the role and contribution of the Albanian diaspora in the United States has been and will remain a key factor for our common future, not only for Albanians in the Republic of North Macedonia, but in all our ethnic lands!
Anëtarët e bordit të Këshillit për Marrëdhënie Shqiptaro-Amerikane (KSHSHM), z. Ilirjan Rusi, z. Burim Rexhaj dhe z. Martin Vulaj zhvilluan një takim të frytshëm me kryetarin e BDI-së, Ali Ahmeti, për të diskutuar mbi zhvillimet në Maqedoninë e Veriut, rajon dhe sfidat gjeopolitike.
Presidenti i AARC-së, z. Martin Vulaj ritheksoi se miqësia dhe partneriteti strategjik me Shtetet e Bashkuara të Amerikës mbeten një vlerë e patjetërsueshme për të gjithë shqiptarët. Mbështetja e Shteteve të Bashkuara ka qenë dhe vazhdon të jetë një shtyllë kryesore e shqiptarëve në rajon.
Palët diskutuan gjithashtu rëndësinë e zbatimit besnik të parimeve të Marrëveshjes së Ohrit dhe sigurimin që parimet e drejtësisë në të cilat ajo bazohet të zbatohen plotësisht dhe të shërbejnë si burim fuqie për integrimin e vazhdueshëm euroatlantik të Maqedonisë së Veriut.
Me këtë rast, Ali Ahmeti deklaroi: “Ka qenë kënaqësi e veçantë të mirëpritja AARC-në në selinë e BDI-së në një takim vëllazëror me përfaqësues të Këshillit për Marrëdhënie Shqiptaro-Amerikane”.
Zoti Ahmeti theksoi se roli dhe kontributi i diasporës shqiptare në SHBA ka qenë dhe do të mbetet faktor kyç për të ardhmen tonë të përbashkët, jo vetëm për shqiptarët në Republikën e Maqedonisë së Veriut, por në të gjitha trojet tona etnike!
