AARC President Martin Vulaj and Secretary Burim Rexhaj met with Monica Schneider from Senator Cory Booker’s foreign policy team to discuss Kosovo and regional challenges in the Western Balkans.
We emphasized the urgent need for U.S. leadership in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, with Mutual Recognition as the ultimate goal. As a key member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Senator Booker can play a pivotal role in shaping a principled and effective U.S. policy.
The EU lacks the capacity and resolve to bring the dialogue to a successful conclusion. Without strong U.S. engagement, the region remains vulnerable to Russian and Chinese influence, risking renewed instability.
AARC called for renewed American leadership and encouraged robust U.S. economic investment to support lasting peace and progress toward European integration.
