At a time when polarization runs deep in American politics, it is important to underscore that support for Kosova and for a strong U.S.–Albanian relationship remains firmly bipartisan. Both Democrats and Republicans recognize the strategic importance of the Albanian factor in the Balkans.
AARC remains committed to working across the political aisle to further strengthen the enduring ties between the American and Albanian people.
During our discussion, the Senator agreed that it is in the U.S. national interest for Kosova to be integrated into NATO and for Albanians in the region to play a strengthened role as a stabilizing force and a bulwark against malign Russian and Chinese influence.
